Fortwilliam has excellent food and beverage facilities that will accomodate the needs of members
and visitors alike. There are three bars, two on the Ist floor of the clubhouse and a third located in the
Shaftesbury Room on the 2nd floor.
Recently the clubhouse has undergone a refurbishment of the Lounge Bar, Members' Bar, Restaurant
and Ladies and Mens Locker Rooms. (See photographs below).
The Shaftesbury Room is popular with societies as it is situated in a private area at the top of the clubhouse.
There are magnificent views to be enjoyed from the patio area. It has its own bar and can accomodate
around 40 people. Members can book the Shaftesbury for private functions.
An elevator installed in the clubhouse has service to all floors.
The restaurant situated beside the main lounge area provides a snack and a 'la carte' service.
